Who can participate?

 

Bizad Charity Run 2020 is open to everyone (not restricted to Business students)! There is no age limit for the runs.

 

How do I get there? 

 

By Public Transport :

1. By MRT 

 

  • Kent Ridge MRT Station
    Take internal shuttle bus A2 to PGP terminal. At the PGP terminal, take A2 again towards the direction of NUS Business School (about 2 bus-stop).
     

  • Clementi MRT Station (from Clementi Bus Interchange) 
    Bus 96. Alight at School of Design and Environment along Kent Ridge Crescent. 
     

  • Harbourfront MRT Station (same side as VivoCity) 
    Bus no. 10, 30, 143, 188. Alight opposite Heng Mui Keng Terrace 
     

  • Haw Par Villa MRT Station (Opposite MRT Station) 
    Bus no. 10, 30, 143, 188. Alight opposite Heng Mui Keng Terrace 


2. By BUS 

 

  • Along Pasir Panjang Road (opposite Heng Mui Keng Terrace)

By Private Transport :
Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) from both Jurong/ Tuas and Changi Airport, exit at Clementi Road (Exit 9)

Will the traffic affect the run? 

 

No, the route does not involve running on the road, with the exception of certain stretches of road/ junctions. Marshals will be present at all road junctions to ensure the safety of runners and to direct traffic where necessary. Participants must also observe and follow traffic rules and regulations.

 

Is this a competitive run? Will I know my timing?

 

There is a 10-KM competitive run and 5-KM Themed Run. Runners for 5-KM are encouraged to push themselves or enjoy a walkathon together with their family or friends.

Only timing for the 10-KM competitive run will be provided.

 

What happens if it rains?

 

The Race Organiser reserves the right to delay the commencement of the race in the event of inclement weather. Should inclement weather persist after a delayed start, the Race Organiser reserves the right to cancel the race in the Race Organiser’s sole discretion without further obligation and without any refund.

 

How long will the Early Bird Discount last for?
 

The Early Bird Discount will last up till 15 November 2019. After that, Normal ticket prices will apply. So Sign Up now :D

 

Who qualifies as a Student?
 

You qualify for the Student rate if you are studying in a Primary/ Secondary/Tertiary Institution in Singapore.

Postgraduate students (MBA/EMBA/PhD) studying in NUS Business School also qualify for the student rate. 

 

Who qualifies as an Alumni?

 

You qualify for the Alumni rate if you are a graduate from NUS Business School. MBA and EMBA are also included.‚Äč

 
Is it possible for me to make a donation to Bizad Charity Run 2020 even though I won't be able to turn up for the run?
 

Yes! We accept all donations and understand that you may not be able to turn up for the race itself.

 

Which beneficiaries will my money go to?
 

BIZAD Charity Run 2020 has partnered up with a total of 5 beneficiaries this year; TOUCH Community Services, NUSBSA Bursary Fund, NUS Student Support Fund, Lim Chin Memorial Fund and NUS Malaysian Community Bursary Fund. Click here to find out more about them!
